DIRECTIONS FOR ARRIVING
Arriving at Sappraiwan Elephant Resort is convenient whether you come by car, train, air or bus. We recommend train or air.
If you take the train or bus you will need to arrive at our closest city, which is the city of Phitsanulok. We can arrange to have you picked up from the Phitsanulok train or bus station. It is a one-hour ride from the station to the resort.
If you decide to fly from the Bangkok area, there are two ways. The first option: take a direct flight from Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport (BBK) to Sukhothai Airport (THS). The second option: take a direct flight from Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) to Phitsanulok Airport (PHS).
(Note: Neither UBER nor Grab operate in the area.)

FROM BANGKOK
Take the train from Bangkok station to Phitsanulok station.
FROM CHIANG MAI
Take the train from Chiang Mai station to Phitsanulok station.

IF COMING BY BUS ARRIVING AT BAN SAPPRAIWAN We recommend the train over the bus, as the bus is a bit more complicated to take.
BUS FROM BANGKOK
Buses depart from Bangkok’s Mochit 2 Bus Terminal to Phitsanulok; get off at Ban Sappraiwan Phitsanulok Yan Yon Tour - Tel: 0 2936 2924-5
BUS/VAN FROM SUKHOTHAI
Buses depart from Sukhothai Bus Station between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, the price is estimated 55 THB/one way/person. Check price and schedule by phoning the Sukhothai bus station: 055-613-296, 081-4741929, or 083-9522417
BUS FROM CHIANG MAI

IF COMING BY CAR DIRECTLY TO THE RESORT
FROM BANGKOK
Take the road to Nakhonsawan Province, which is directly after Phichit Province, and you will arrive at Phitsanulok province. Then continue straight onto Route12. You will see Sappraiwan Elephant Resort on the right-hand side. (From Bangkok – Sappraiwan Elephant Resort is a 5-hour drive.)
FROM CHIANG MAI
Take the road to Lampang Province via Denchai District (Phare Province) turn right at Uttaradit and proceed on the road to Phitsanulok – Lomsak (Route12). You will see Sappraiwan Elephant Resort on the right-hand side. (From Chiang Mai - Sappraiwan Elephant Resort is a 5 – 6-hour drive.)
IF COMING BY AIR
FROM BANGKOK INTERNATIONAL SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT
Most international flights arrive in Thailand at this airport. You can fly from this airport to Sukhothai Airport and arrange a hotel pickup. (From Sukhothai Airport to the resort is a 2-hour drive.)
If you are arriving on an international flight outside of Thailand and you arrive at the International Suvarnabhumi Airport, you can take a free shuttle to Bangkok's other airport named Don Mueang Airport. From this airport you will have more options to fly to Sappraiwan by either flying into the city airport of Phitsanulok Airport or Sukhothai City Airport.
FROM BANGKOK DON MUEANG AIRPORT (DMK)
Some regional and most domestic flights use this airport. From here, you can fly to Phitsanulok airport and arrange a pickup. (From Phitsanulok Airport to the resort is a one-hour drive.)
